Another one of my East Village standards, I love the cool, intimate vibe of Blue Owl.  Specialty cocktails are such a great deal during happy hour, $6 last I visited.  My favorite is the Straphanger, a pretty pink concoction topped with a champagne float.  Yummy selection of charcuterie, but no full menu here.  If you need a bite, do yourself a favor and drop into S’Mac around the corner on 12th street between First and Second avenues.
