Dau Clia

Via San Giacomo 65
19017 Riomaggiore

Down by the waterfront in Riomaggiore, we could see this little restaurant from our apartment window. There’s ample outdoor seating and inside it has a modern, sophisticated feel contrasted with the rocky cave walls. The fresh seafood is delicious and the grilled vegetables are my favorite side dish.  For dessert, we ordered lemon sorbet and limoncello and mixed them together to make our own little lemon granitas. The service is a bit slow, even slower than normal Italian standards, but if you’re not in a rush, it’s a great place more a more special meal in Cinque Terre.
