Admittedly, if someone recommended Becco to me, I wouldn’t be inclined to go. In the theater district’s restaurant row, within a stone’s throw of Times Square, I consider everything in the area a tourist-trap to say the least. Becco however, is must in NYC, pre-theater or anytime you need a stick to your ribs type of meal. Their daily pasta special is my favorite – an antipasto choice and unlimited three fresh pastas served tableside, all for just over $20. They also boast an entire list of wines for $25 a bottle. Well played, Lidia Bastianich, well played.
